How to assemble a T4TREAM storage bed
- Check the boxes. Beds ship in two or three boxes that can arrive on different days. Wait for all of them, then lay the parts out and check them against the parts list.
- Plan for two people and an afternoon. The parts are long and heavy. A ratcheting screwdriver, a stubby #2 Phillips, a rubber mallet and a 4 mm hex T-handle make the job much faster.
- Build headboard and footboard. Assemble the headboard and the footboard or storage bench sections first.
- Connect rails and slats. Bolt the side rails between the ends, set the center support, then press the slats into place along the rails.
- Add drawers and re-check. Slide in the storage drawers. Don't over-tighten screws into the panels, and re-check all bolts after a few weeks of use.
